On March 11 ProMedia Director Petko Georgiev led the second of the series of content-oriented webinars of the Media Resilience Project, focusing on improving audience engagement techniques. The webinars are intended to help potential applicants explore the latest media industry developments, and develop strong applications for support.

The key points in this webinar included the importance of audience engagement for trust, growth, relevance, and press freedom and described potential techniques to increase audience engagement. Among the outlined strategies were data-driven editorial decisions, content personalisation, optimising content distribution, and leveraging platforms. Georgiev emphasized tailoring applications to specific media needs and highlighted the evaluation process, which involves an independent panel and a grant selection committee.
