Submission and procedure for dealing with irregularity alerts
You can submit an irregularity signal to the following e-mail address: mediaresilience@osi.bg
The message should be titled „Irregularity alert“ and structured in the following manner:
- Description of the irregularity (including whether it is alleged or actual and how it was committed);
- The period to which the irregularity relates or the time at which it occurred;
- How the sender became aware of the irregularity, including the source of information leading to the suspicion of the irregularity;
- Natural and/or legal persons involved in the irregularity.
- Other relevant information.
The Project Executive Committee will act on submissions within no more than one month of receipt of the signal. In the event that more time may be needed to investigate and rule on the case, the whistle-blower will be informed of the need for more time and provided the relevant reasons.
“Irregularity” is any breach of the Contract for financial support, of a provision of European and/or national law which has or would have the effect of impeding the implementation of the Media Resilience Project, for example by taking into account an unjustified or disproportionate amount of financial support. All forms of corruption are also an irregularity.
